I could go on plenty on how people could change there books. But one of the bigger things are what your readers want? Yes your ideas are important, but if you are a writer, shouldn’t you put yourself in your readers position? One of the many things anyone can or should do is think about the opposite sides point of view. For me it’s easy since I myself am a reader of both fan fiction and actual novels. I strive to be an author one day so it’s been a passion of mine to read as much as I can of whatever books I can find.
As a reader, and asking my fellow friends on what they like to read, I have concluded that the popular majority does like the romantic stereotype, “opposites attract.” One of my fanfics, Her smile, is a great example. I’m undergoing a lot of change in my books, this being one of them, but both the character and reader have different personalities from one another.
Another tip is to also put your passion into this project. Why did you make it? Why did you start it and whom expired you to continue it? Anyways I don’t want to bore you with my comments, but these are some tips o recommend using. I see the potential in you, you just haven’t unlocked that certain spot of creativity and imagination yet. But don’t worry, we all start off as boring old rocks, but Over time, if we polish that rock we are, slowly but surely we will become Geo within that rock. I hope you have a great day!
