I have been writing poetry and fiction my whole life, several years ago I published 'The Downfall of Hope' my first anthology of selected poems that I'd worked on in recent years.  I've had to balance these forays into the writing world with my full-time occupation as a Geologist. 

My main focus now is to complete my novel, Defiance. A fantasy fiction telling the tale of a humble young man that is met with tragedy during his formative years, which sets him on a quest to fulfil his destiny and protect the realm. 

I am only 28 but I feel I've lived an interesting life so far, I have travelled extensively through work and my own adventures, while also involving myself in all manner of endeavours, hobbies, skills etc. I say this not to brag but to make it known that I have a wide range of interests and love meeting new people. Feel free to interact with me on any topic - chances are we will have some common ground. 

I like to pull upon these experiences I have made inferences to, in my writing but also I believe it is important to retain humility and learn from those around me. I hope you enjoy my work and please bare with me while I get used to this medium of publishing and will work diligently to release more of my fiction and poetry.
