It's not weird at all actually. Hamilton is a musical, the full name being Hamilton: An American Musical. It's a musical written entirely by a man named Lin Manuel Miranda, about the life of the first Secretary of State of the USA, Alexander Hamilton. It won, I believe, 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It's pretty much sold out until 2017, and it's amazing.
