For everyone who cares about Ordinary, here's what (I think) is the beginning of the next chapter:
Somehow Bea's people aren't that tragic.
Her People have always been normal and mortal. But the ones that she connected with most, she always met from theatre.
She met three of them when she was nine. Her foster mom at the time sent her to drama camp with her biological daughter because it cost less. Her daughter didn't end up liking it, but Bea fell in love with the technical side of theatre.
It was the side that didn't waste a second and used every moment wisely.
In the week she spent in that auditorium she learned how stage crew was the ones who built the props and changed the sets, how they made everything work properly. Bea desperately wanted this. To be in control of what was going on.
Grace, Ethan and Micheal felt her and understood that need to be in control. Though they liked the acting part better, the four of them were inseparable.
Untill they moved her.
Again.
And there was no theatre.
About seven moves and one year later, she found more people.
Coincidentally, it was also at a theatre. Henry was tall, really tall and was the one most interested in acting. Like Bea, Natalie enjoyed the tech side, (Or the 'dark side' as Henry had said) but also had a flair for acting. Bea could remember her convincing a kid that was a year older than her that he was a ghost.
But as soon as they reached the last week of December and they were finally used to each other, Bea was moved again. This time, to Quebec.
It was a long time until she met People again.
