Can I say how thrilled I am you appreciate the equal power dynamic. It was one of the inspirations for the story. Oh Jonathan is a fan favourite and so much fun to write.             My pleasure. I couldn't stop reading until I reached the ending. It was brilliant!! I love the storyline, and each and every one of your characters (though I am on the fence as far as the police officers, Henry and the absentee father/ mother are concerned. Well written characters that I just can't help wanting to knock some sense into). I found myself getting more and more emotional as the story progressed. It's like I've known these people in person. It was that impactful! It was honestly hard to read about the struggles they faced and the losses they had to experience. I feel like your story took a piece of my heart with it the moment it was over. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but one I would never regret going through. I hope you never stop writing. There's a beauty in your stories/ storytelling that I rarely find in other works. Truly enjoyable. Be blissful. Stay safe
