I just found out I was blocked by an author here for pointing out inconsistencies and things that didn't make sense in the story. I didn't even trash the story; I just offered a critique, suggesting that if he/she wanted readers to like the protagonist, he/she should develop her relationships with other characters instead of rushing things. Apparently, though, the author can't handle criticism, even when it's meant as advice for improvement, and just blocks anyone he doesn't like.
I think that even when I received harsher criticism from my readers, I never blocked or deleted a comment.

@ shizumas205 I thought the person had deleted the story because I no longer had access to it, and even though I had some criticisms, I was still reading to see how the plot would unfold. I only realized I’d been blocked because update notifications kept showing up... Anyway, I don't condone hate or anything like that in authors' comment sections, after all, I’m an author myself, so I know exactly how certain comments can affect us. But whenever I received constructive criticism, I always tried to listen and improve. In fact, if I compare my current fanfics to my early ones, I’ve improved a lot.

@Hannah4chan It's sad, but unfortunately there's always someone like that; they don't appreciate constructive criticism. Don't worry, just keep going.
