When I was 10 years of age, I became absolutely infatuated with books. Now, the series I chose to indulge myself in was nothing short of material an average child my age would read, so in that aspect nothing was out of the ordinary. However, it wasn't the genre that set me apart from the rest of my class, it was the number of books I had read within a two year frame. By age 12 I read close to 42 books all of the Warrior Cat series, written by Erin Hunter. Not only had I read them, i could remember every detail, every name and had even formed my own gang at school in which we would act out the lives of the characters in the book. My classmates however didnt read the books, so they went off of whatever I told them to do. Thus began my struggle with bossiness, but that is a story i'll leave for another time.
All this to say, because of my dedication to reading a ridiculous amount of books, I have received two very beautiful gifts. A passion for writing and a will to make people understand the world a little better.
In my novels you'll find yourself in thought often, thinking about the world as it is: wondrous, strange and absolutely mysterious.
