I'm a young'ish writer with a tendency to giggle and an in-depth fear of red foods. Not that your that interested but I was born and bred a typical Valley girl, arriving in Tredegar on the last day of April in 1985 and brought up in the beautiful Ebbw Vale.
I knew I would be a writer from a young age. I was always a good liar growing up with an unhealthy fetish for stationary.
I attended Bath Spa University from 2004 graduating with a degree in Creative studies in English, a huge amount of debt and the worst case of homesickness known to man. Having been a barmaid during my gap-life, I decided to take the literary bull by the horns and get published instead of getting a grown up job.
It worked for a tiny amount of time.
I know have a grown up job in a homeless hostel and write as often as humanly possible.
I live in Merthyr Tydfil at the moment and probably will for a long time given I'm shacked up quite nicely with a Gurnos boy called Scott and our baby girl Blossom.
To sum it all up, I'd say I'm a general little ray of sunshine with a snazzy notepad!
