Hi all! 
          
          I'm going to take a hiatus from wattpad for a bit. Health things are flaring up a but, I need to disconnect from the internet for a few weeks/month or so. I'll still be on here, after the chapters I mention below I won't be posting any new chapters, and I'll be dialling back my reading/commenting etc
          
          I've decided to post all chapters of BWABW up until the next section. Feel free to read (or not!)

          Please comment a  as a reminder to read any chapters of yours. I know I've fallen behind on lots of friend's stories, sorry about that.

           I'm running a prompt challenge where everyone creates -something- from the prompt (prose, poetry, sketch, playdough figure, knitting, whatever). 
          
          I'll post my own short excerpts from this, and please do join in if you want to!

Hi friends! Quick reminder about the anthology, Children of the Sky, which includes a short story of mine, Words Apart. (Which I refer to as “Autistic lesbians in space”)
          
          Words Apart is a story of Em, an autistic linguist who stumbles across a non-corporeal alien lifeform in a cupboard. Supported by an intergalactic archivist Grace and a small team of scientists, Em strives to learn more about the nameless, faceless lifeform she calls Inky. It’s a story of learning to communicate across species boundaries, as both Em and Inky work to adapt the alien’s non-verbal language to facilitate discussions across worlds.
          
          The anthology, Children of the Sky is a collection of sci-fi short stories about first contact with aliens, of lost star explorers, in the vein of old pulp fiction and I’m super excited to be a part of it!
