About me.

Lets see, where to begin?  The Start I guess.

I'm British, live in the UK on the edge of a large market town in the east of England. I was born in the 70s, grew up in the 80s, hated the 90s, the naughties were slightly boring and now I am just lucky to be here.  I had major surgery in 2011 that saved my life.  I had a liver disease (not related to alcohol) which almost ended me on two occasions.  Fortunately for me a donor organ was found a week after going on the transplant list.  I see it as a second chance at life.  I remember the date and light a candle in memory of the person who lost their life and was a donor so that I may live.  I'm on a lovely cocktail of medication every day for the rest of my days, and was recently diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic.

Life isn't supposed to be easy.  If it was, it would be boring.  Every day is a challenge and a gift and I face each new day with a smile and determination to get the most out of life - no matter what.

I'm Gay - deal with it.  I have a wonderful partner / best friend / soul mate who I have known for a year and been dating since december 1st 2012.  350 miles apart, who says long distance relationships don't work?  

Music likes.
One Direction, Jesse McCartney, Bucks Fizz, Madonna' Britney, Abba, Metallica, Def Leppard and a whole lot of other stuff.  .  I hate hip hop and club trance stuff.. 
otherwise, if I like it I listen to it.

Movies - Star Wars Saga, LOTR, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, Marvel Universe movies, Classic black and white Basil Rathbone sherlock holmes - mainly Sci Fi and Fantasy are on my list.

TV Shows - Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Blakes 7, CSI, Doctor Who, Falling Skies, Farscape,  Firefly, Game of Thrones, Last Resort, QI, Queer as Folk (UK and US series), Red Dwarf, Revolution, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Supernatural, Torchwood.
