SOMEONE HAS STOLEN ONE OF @BambooGreen 's STORIES!! And when I mean stole, I mean COPIED WORD FOR WORD. Not even changing the names or attempting to hide the theft. Now, as some of you may know (or you don't but you're just about to find out) I'm a pretty opinionated person about certain things. And one of those things is theft. Any type of art, whether it be drawing, editing, o writing, takes a LOT of work--and a lot of heart goes into every word, pencil mark, or brushstroke in a piece of art. And it has come to my attention that someone has stolen Bamboo's art--her love for writing and hard work--and claimed it a their own. No. That's not okay. Her story "Th Girl and The Sea" is one of my absolute favorite pieces of fan fiction I have ever rea It is a pirate Gajevy AU that she spent week on developing the storyline and put so muc heart into. And a one EricaKenny has stolen it, WORD FOR WORD, and posted it as their OWN WORK. I usually wouldn't get involved in something like this because it isn't mine, but Bamboo means a great deal to me, and I will not stand for this. Stealing anyone's work and claiming it as your own is NEVER acceptable it tarnishes the integrity of this website and puts fear into those of us who may want to write here--in a place that is supposed to be safe. So, I am asking you, all of you (especially because I know most of you know and read Bamboo's works) to please PLEASE help spread the word about this! If you would like to read "The Girl and The Sea" it is on Bamboo's profile, and it is incredible. But please help stop anyone else for reading the stolen version and giving praise to someone callous enough to so obviously thieve someone's heart and soul!
