I just unpublished There's Only You to hopefully make it eligible for The Wattys 2025 (since it needs to be published by a certain date). Besides, it gives me time to add a bit more tweaks to it.

If unpublishing and republishing doesn't count, at least I tried.

*ineligible if the story is published twice and in two seperate books.

@HappyEndingWriter Your story, There's Only You, was created March 17, 2016. A story created before January 1, 2022, is not allowed by the rules and will not get the banner to enter the Wattys.

For wattys eligibility, some writers republish a fresh book with the same title inside that wattys time span. Judges look at creation dates. The creation dates reflect the freshness of a story idea, which is why the Wattys emphasizes a specific time frame for when individuals can develop their narratives.

Many authors on this platform who recreate new books with the same plot don't care about losing reads, comments, and votes on their original books, which is why they want their stories to be available for the contest.

It is only eligible if the story is published twice on the same Wattpad account. As in, if the identical narrative appears in two different books. For that reason, they aren't considered innovative concepts, and judges cannot see author's drafts. If you make a new book and unpublish the old one, just the new book with the latest creation date will be shown and eligible for the contest. The date has to show beyond January 1st, 2022 and not beforehand.

Wattys always looks at creation dates and not the first part published.

@HappyEndingWriter According to my understanding, it does not make it eligible. If you publish and republish in the same book, it will still register as being created before the cutoff date. If you create a new draft and publish it there, I still don't think it will be eligible. Something about doing so will disqualify it? Idk, it might be somewhere in the rule book

Hello there!

I'm so sorry for so much comments on your profile recently.

I'm wondering whether you do like for a read for read ? I guess you might have missed my comment saying you to continue reading my book in a later post.

If you like to do a read for read please name the book you want me to read. I read one of your books few months ago and if you want me to read another book I will read again it's no problem.

The book if you want to read is ' So far away '

          Thank you!!

@Maleesha_M | I'll try to start reading yours again tonight. Can you read Rise To Stardom in exchange?

@HappyEndingWriter okay.
You can start from chapter 25. It's the last chapter you read on 'So far away'

Hi there! Since I finished reading one of your books. I was wondering if we’re continuing the r4r by me reading another one of your books, or if our exchange is complete? Let me know❤️✨

HappyEndingWriter

Of course! If you want! You can read either Dysarthria or Rise To Stardom. Whichever one you think looks the most interesting.

Thinking of taking a hiatus. Hadn't taken one in the ten years I'd been on Wattpad. At least not one that's lasted longer than a week (I think).
