heyyyy!! you asked me for some pointers:)
i honestly don't have a lot, i love this so much already, especially the last chapter, i find bringing a bit of drama in early on makes a reader keep reading, atleast for me personally i want to keep reading if there's drama at the beginning. as for pointers the only thing I can really say is longer chapters!! when i first started writing, i always found that the books that did better were the ones with longer chapters, and for me personally i much prefer longer chapters in a book:) if you think you can add more detail, definitely add more detail
also, if your readers are low to start off with, dont let it weigh you down because mine were rock bottom for so long, I just kept writing and publishing and set myself little milestones to achieve like 100 reads, 200 reads etc etc but you're doing great!
