Six years.
That’s how long readers have been waiting for The Alpha’s Captive to be finished.
I’ve checked back every now and then over the years, hoping there would finally be some real progress, only to be met with the same lack of communication and accountability.
After years of disappearing, long periods of inactivity on Patreon while people were paying for updates that never came, and repeatedly leaving readers without answers, the announcement, after more than six years , is simply that the book will be published on Amazon.
No release date. No confirmation that it’s actually finished. No price. No timeline.
That isn’t an update.
So, a few simple questions:
Is the book actually finished?
When will it be published?
What is the release date?
What will it cost?
Should readers expect another indefinite wait?
The story deserved better, and so did the readers who supported it and continued believing it would eventually be completed.
At this point, vague announcements aren’t enough. Either provide clear information or wait until you can.
The frustrating part is that I genuinely liked this story and it bothers me that I never got to finish it.
P.S. I’m genuinely glad you’re okay at least.
