You know your injury is bad enough when your doctor suggests surgery.
Hey everyone! So, I'm back, as you can see, and that's because I've been resting my hands. Now, I have something called carpel tunnel syndrome. It's caused by repetitive wrist movements and many other things but mine is mostly caused by my addiction to writing! (´⊙ω⊙`)
Anyway. Carpel tunnel causes many different things such as pain in the wrists leading up to the shoulders, pain in the palms of your hand, numbness, ect. I have all of the above and I gotta say, I was surprised to hear that my case is the worst my doctor has seen in anyone my age, and I don't doubt it. My wrists hurt like a mf and I swear that I'd rather get surgery than deal with this shit.
Anyhoo, I've been prescribed some medication to ease the pain and a physical therapist to get my hands into a better sha- okay, that sounded much weirder than in my head....damn. Anyway, I have braces for both my hands and pain medication and a physical therapist that will help me get strength back in my arms and hands. I'll keep you guys updated after all of my therapy appointments and I'll try to get back to writing as soon as I can!
