Hi Harrison, you'll be glad to know I got a distinction (highest achievable grade) for the speaking exam. I will, once I get around it, update you with the final speech I made. I also want to thank you for inspiring me to read ...and read some more. Before I began to read your fascinating and thrilling story, I had no direction in terms of reading and would occasionally find something to gobble my eyes on in the r/nosleep thread but I am now becoming an avid reader and experiencing journeys which I didn't think I would initially. I attempt to read a few hours a day, although I must admit this can be difficult and demanding for me...anyhow I hope by reading this you understand the impact your work has had on individuals such as myself. Thank you.

@HarrisonPrince I can only imagine and no need to apologise. I recently discovered your YouTube channel, listened through it all and it was honestly great. Definitely worth 2 hours of my life. Will you be uploading Clark's version of "I dared my friend..." on YouTube as well.

Here it is:
          Hi,

Today I am talking about what you can achieve with effort and is it really necessary? My definition of effort is that it involves time, energy and often dedication. I will talk you through a personal sorry of mine. Hopefully you'll get something out of it.

About a year ago, there was an announcement in my form about a chess club- upon hearing about this, I had put it aside because I didn't think I had any hope of getting anywhere with it. As well as this, in my head I had made a connection between chess and nerds. This clouded my judgement. However, eventually I decided to give it a try and this required a lot of perseverance.

Now, little did I know that I would still be attending 5 months later, putting in the strain and toil to sustain my performance and become a better player. At times, I would incur multiple losses but I did not let this get in the way of my ambition to succeed in the game.

Soon enough, there was a chess competition at the club. I was very excited about this as I acknowledged how much time I had put into getting here.

          ----------------------- ----------------------- -----------------------
That's as much as I have written so far and I will update you with more. I will give you a spoiler: I ended up being chess champion at my school. I would appreciate any comments/suggestions/improvements. Thank you ever so much!

@HarrisonPrince sounds good! Thanks for correcting my mistakes. I will update you with more soon.

@MagisticMo change "sorry" to "story. Change to "what you can achieve with effort and if it is really necessary." Other than that it's progressing well!

Honestly, I just got this app after reading your reddit post, "I dared...". I am in love with your style of writing and as a young reader, very inspired. I am going to start writing a few books of my own which will be shadowing most of your works. Thank for you such a great read.
