Readers are requested to not promote their stories in the comment section of my stories. I got dozens of notifications today and all of them are from a writer replying to comments from one of my stories, asking genuine readers to read their story.

I had to delete all of them one by one. I would appreciate if you all keep reading requests limited to posting on profile(even that is considered rude but I ignore it), not in story comments, asking and tagging genuine readers to read your story which they never signed up for.

It may sound harsh but I am at the end of my patience.

Hi @Harshimusle22,

I just finished reading Mayanshi, and I had to reach out to say how much I loved your work! The clarity in your writing is incredible, and the way you’ve developed the characters is truly commendable—each one stays true to their essence, making them feel real and engaging.

The suspense is masterfully built, keeping us constantly guessing and suspecting everything around Mayanshi. I especially appreciate how every character is layered and morally grey, with well-justified pasts. There’s no unnecessarily preachy or impractically upright character, which adds to the realism of the story.

I also have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the dialogues—especially the sophisticated banter between Mayanshi and Samarjit! The way they maintain their eloquence, sarcasm, and composure while subtly asserting dominance was fascinating. It truly feels like an authentic depiction of how royalty might have spoken and maneuvered through politics and diplomacy.

This book carries a level of maturity that is a rare find on Wattpad, and I genuinely believe it stands among the best in Indian historical fiction. I really hope you’ll complete it—I’m willing to wait however long it takes!

I only regret not discovering it sooner, considering it has been on Wattpad for nearly four years. Also, Mayanshi strongly reminds me of Mrinalvati, the warrior princess from K.M. Munshi’s Prithvi Vallabh. Both Mayanshi and Mrinal share a similar past filled with loss and betrayal, yet they channel their pain into a burning fire for revenge while fiercely protecting their nation and looking out for their people. That blend of strength, intelligence, and vulnerability makes them both such compelling characters.

Looking forward to more of your writing!

-With all the admiration of a bookworm who found a rare gem!

Hello author, I read your book Mayanshi and it is such a ride!! Love it so much. Even though it is incomplete and I am not sure whether you plan on updating, it was very entertaining. All the plot points converging and especially the characters being witty but having their own weaknesses was so nicely done. Hats off to you!! Good luck with your baby and other endeavours!!
