have thought about making a supernatural fanfic ?

I have a new story idea:
          
          A female prisoner is accidentally left behind in her unlocked solitary cell, while the rest of the prisoners are transferred to new prisons. It isn’t until weeks later that the new prison realizes that they’re short a prisoner and go back, only to find that she stayed in the prison. She had roam of the entire place and thrived, made herself meals and cleaned up after herself. But when they try to capture her she escapes out into the public. 
          There’s a big problem though, while she was alone at the prison she managed to erase her entire existence from its records, she was only known as Jane Doe in their logs. The prison decides to sweep her existence under the rug and goes on with its business, not wanting an intrusive inquiry of how this all happened in the first place.
          Soon after her escape a string of brutal murders catches police’s attention.
          
          
          What do you guys think? It would be an original story with original characters, which has always been difficult for me to write, but I think it has promise.
