@Hauteur it’s actually traumatizing and DEFINITELY vile. It’s not a book I’d casually recommend to people because it’s definitely not something that everyone can take and I could barely get through it myself , the themes are HEAVY. So even though it’s like the most popular Harry Potter ff, it’s 100% a book you can live without. Definitely don’t feel like you have to read it! But prepare yourself if you ever do decided to :,)

@Hauteur HELPPP as someone who read it when I was literally 16 or 17 that shit ACTUALLY destroyed me. Like I wouldn’t call myself a dramione shipper, I more so just read what I think sounds interesting from the description, but my god do dramione shippers know how to WRITE. Manacled is extremely dark and depressing but it’s written so well. It’s one of those books where you’re left staring at the wall after reading and don’t know what to do with yourself. It was engraved in my mind for THE longest time. But I’d have to say I’d never read it again just because I don’t think I could handle going through that experience a second time with how dark it was.
