            He hesitated a moment, “but.. I /am/ Remus.”
            
            Her eyes drifted away from him, “You’re not /my/ Remus, though.” There was a fondness to the way she said it. A fondness he’d not been addressed with in a long time. She said his name like she was talking about someone he’d never met and someone she’d never see again. As if the Remus she was talking about, the Remus she loved once upon a time,  and who he was, the Remus in that very moment, could never possibly be the same person. He feared she was right.

@Chaychay35 I think it’s on Netflix, last I checked? I got the box set for Christmas a couple years ago and it’s saving me from losing my mind with spotty internet

@Chaychay35 let me PLEASE put you on to this shit. it’s a BBC period drama about a wealthy family and their servants, it starts when the titanic sinks and goes through World War One and the boom. It’s so stupidly good for no reason (it’s got dame Maggie smith) it’s a drama following both the family with the title of the estate and their servants. i think it’s on Netflix

reflecting light on ao3 is so so good but make sure to read the tags. it is lowkey student-teacher romance which i know isn't everyone's cup of tea, BUT she isn't technically his student and nothing happens between them until a while after she graduates. it's super well written, would definitely recommend!!
