Hey! other author! Other author!"
Frowning, you swung your head around to view the annoying stranger who has been pestering you ever since morning, yet never saying what they needed, it was honestly starting to get on your nerves, "what do you want?"
The black cat hummed contently as you both strolled along the narrow sidewalk filled to the brim with shuffling locals. The feline pretended not to hear.
"Hey, cat!"
"Oh, my, I didn't see you there! It is a pleasure to be of your acquaintance."
The cat was smirking. You were sure of it. Sighing, you decided to just ignore it and went on to do your things. An awkward silence commenced. Just as you've gotten used to the silence, though . . .
"It's 3:00 PM!" The cat suddenly exclaimed as you nearly fell over while crossing the street. "So what?"
"Right! So author-chan didn't let me speak until it was time but I was bored. So. Anyways, my wonderful chicken of an author sent me to say thanks AGAIN for voting on Reincarnated as a Mage since she was, like, 'you did soooo well the first time, why don't you do it again? It's just with a different person! I said no. She bribed me with the chocolate. This cat can't say no to chocolate, which is why I'm here today."
"Huh?"
"Don't just stand there! You're going to be run over!" The feline somehow managed to push you to the other side, gaining a lot of weird looks from the other people.
"Wait, wait, is it just me or did you just break the 4th wall by coming here?"
"Uh . . ." The cat nervously sweated as much as a cat could sweat, "I'm just a figment of your imagination! You ate some bad . . . food and is having a dream about talking cats I'll see myself out."
