          i used to respect bts cuz namjoon showed the figurines in support of palestine he had up his shelf and yoongi commended the concept of hijab and stuff and yh they are lovely people when u admire them from afar but ive never been big on celebrity worship and i have mentioned in my books it's Deen over Duniya for me always. I have only one God and that is Allah and if people wanna talk smack about my Allah and my religion, they gotta go over my dead body at some point yh
          
          that said frank ocean song wasn't islamophobic it was simply dissing going on ur knees to pray to a God, saying all religions that get u to do so are bad.           also its not that im a solo stan or anything but ive never been big on other members that much. for me as an artist and a writer, Taehyung is my muse because he is very similar to me in many ways and im so drawn to him i just enjoy writing characters based on him cuz he intrigues me sm ygm :) but even he got stuck in an n-word controversy so ive been feeling a bit disappointed that we didn't defend the black community as strongly as this black author did for us Muslims (-kimtaesan)
          
          tbh im in my 20s rn and life is so heavy atp u will not wanna let this mess take ur mental space for too long anyways celebrity worship is bullshit for all the right reasons.

            Well we can't rlly stop such ppl, every community has weird pests which are hard to stop.... All we can do is continue to pray and stay on the right path and not fall for such foolery

@HawtChillie we know them through the screen so we know only what they and their companies want us to know about them and since they were marketed well by their agencies to make them look these sugarcoated absolutely desirable and flawless angels its alright to be fooled ig. its not ur fault if someone decides to one day wake up and choose violence lol besides namjoon isn't the real enemy. have you heard of queer Muslims? the ones that jumped on the wagon and aired this fire of Islamophobia after the whole controversy? they kept whining how hard it is to be a Muslim as a queer like wow, ok ig? that's like saying i eat pork but I'm vegan, doesn't even make sense. they barely know what Islam is about. we have impostors in our ummah rn and that's a bigger problem than namjoon posting an Instagram story abt some stupid song. id unleash a whole essay on these munafiqs but ima hold my tongue rn haha
