Hazel grew up with poems of flower fairies, stories of Narnia, and a vivid imagination. Minoring in philosophy during college gave her the language structure to bring her inner world to the written page. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, ballroom dancing, travelling for vacation, sunset walks with her husband, and drinking coffee while her pet cat and dog play in the yard.
