So I keep getting messages asking about what’s going on with Bound To You and I thought it was time I give you all an answer. 
          
          A few months ago I had a slip up with some mental health issues. After being in recovery for a long time I now find myself in a very vulnerable place with a lot going on in my life. 
          
          As such, I don’t think now is the time for me to be editing this story, or any story. I want to write it. I will write it. I just have to make it through a few things first. I hope to be updating again as normal soon, but because this is such a personal matter I don’t feel comfortable setting a deadline. 
          
          I know you all are patiently waiting for the edited chapters and I know that some people have asked if I could just republish the drafted chapters. I don’t want to do that because of story changes I made in early revisions, and honestly I would just feel more comfortable putting it all up at one time when it’s done for you all. 
          
          Thank you all so much for understanding. I am sorry I haven’t replied to many messages or been active. Honestly, Wattpad has been the furthest thing from my mind right now.

Guess what’s coming tonight? Chapter 2 of Bound To You. I didn’t realize edits and revisions would take as long as it has. The story has really changed, but for the better I’d say.

Important Announcement about Bound To You!
          
          
          Chapter One of Bound To You has been revised and is up now!!!
          
          If you've read the story before there have been some major and minor changes so I would encourage you to look at it again as more chapters are being revised. 
          
          I am in the process of trying to set a final cover for the story (you will notice it has changed and this will likely be temporary).
          
          Chapter Two will be coming soon as will a playlist and some aesthetic moldboards.

Hi my lovely readers!! I'm alive!
          
          Just a heads up I'm pulling Bound To You down sometime next week to do edits and revisions and tweak the story line. It will be relaunched with a new cover and new chapters sometime around January. Thank you all for the continued support! 
          
          For the first time in a long time I feel like this story has some life in it, and to be fair it always did. I seriously can't begin to express how even on hiatus you have continued to share and read this story and it's stayed continuously ranked. 
          
          To answer some frequent questions about BTY and my recent absence: 
          
          BTY will have a sequel (It will likely be a trilogy???) I haven't figured out the title yet. I was too damn crafty with the first title I am not sure how I'm going to top that (no pun intended).
          
          And my absence was due so a near mental breakdown and burnout. I was very close to full on meltdown, and so I really restricted my access to all social media and writing for a while and focused only on the things that were important in the moment. I want to iterate how important mental health is and while I enjoy it, writing on here, or anywhere for me, is not a job (wouldn't that be nice).  So while it meant putting this story on hold and taking care of myself for a while, I'm in a much better place to be working on this story and writing in general. 
          
          Side note, if you know of any dark romance/adult fiction friendly contest going on now or soon please hit me up about them.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all are doing well. 
          
          I know it’s been a while but I’ve been extremely busy and I’m thinking very seriously about Bound To You and what I want to do with that project. I will have a lot of time to work on it in December. 
          
          I can’t really put a specific timeline on when I will get it done but for now it’s not going anywhere. I really appreciate your support on this story.

Why I haven’t updated 
          
          
          So here is the deal. Writing linearly just doesn’t always work for me. I get ideas and I can’t make my story flow right when I have to attack it one chapter at a time and in order. Because of this I hit road blocks frequently. I know exactly how I’m going to end Bound To You (and start book 2... surprise?) but it’s getting there that has been so hard. 
          
          I’m also dealing with some mental and physical health concerns which are consuming my time. I’m going to definitely work on getting another chapter out soon but I’m also going to work on later chapters because right now that’s really what I’m interested in. 
          
          I hope everyone understands. Clark and Ella will continue their story soon, I promise.

Chapter Seventeen is now up! Also, Chapters fourteen, fifteen and sixteen have been updated (because none of you call me out on my shitty writing in places and so I go back and catch it and feel like a complete idiot. But it's okay because it is fixed now.
          
          To my new followers and those who have added Bound To You to a reading list recently thank you! I haven't been able to get to you all but I sincerely appreciate all of you!

Oh my gosh you all did it! You got Bound To You to 1k reads! I can’t believe this! I am working on getting the next chapter to you soon and I apologize for the delay. I’ve had an extremely busy week and I’m absolutely spent but I’m going to get it up soon.
