Oshi no Ko is peak.
          
          I never really had so many expectations from this anime but man...it has made its way to one of my favourites. The attention to side characters is insane!
          
          Kana's backstory, Akane's backstory... everything comes into a full circle. It's a stretch to call it one of the best written animanga, but it's definitely one of the contenders. But one thing I can say is that it's a masterpiece.
          
          Pacing is perfect, I am yet to read the manga but I'd rather not. If you haven't read it, trust me. It's a ride.
          
          There aren't many good anime which focus on the characters this much nowadays, but Oshi no Ko does. The plot is interesting, there's humour, there's the darkness of reality, there's romance. It's basically one of the best if you want to see a mixed up genre.
          
          Man I really thought manga authors can't create two masterpieces which get a great anime adaptation but Akasaka-san really cooked with both Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko.

          Ik the chapter has been delayed but that was kind of expected because it's me.

          Well anyway, I was cooking and scrapping ideas which is why the chapter has been delayed. You know, action has not been seen for many chapters now, I gotta spice things up fr.
          
          Which is why... it's taking time. I do not know when the chapter will be ready (this week fs) as I just keep on scrapping and re-writing many scenes tbh, and it takes up all my time which I can give to writing. I've got a tight schedule.
          
          Well anyway sorry to disappoint, it's not the first time anyway. I'm so shameless huh? Well I'm the way I am. Hehe.

From what I can remember, every class in the first year lost Class Points in the Sports Festival right? I do not trust the data, I really need to go back and check it.
          
          Anyway, that's not all. This chapter will take long and might be boring for some of you, Kai is not going to have much screentime. Even if he does, it'll just be filler or something I just did to make the chapter somewhat funny.
          
          The chapter will... probably be done by 15-16 August. Alright alright, whenever I say something like this I always do it late but yeah I don't think so that'll happen this time. I want to finish the first year asap so I can complete Kai's backstory then and start with the most entertaining year of the entire series.
          
          I really thought my fanfiction wouldn't take much time to end, but considering my time each chapter. Yeah it ain't getting completed until December unless I skip some shit which I'm not going to do.

The Horikita-Kai dynamic is nuts!
          
          Yes, you heard it. It's very difficult to write now that Suzune has admitted to having feelings for Kai. I can't find a way to write a scene with both of them without making Horikita at least a little OOC, it's hard. Near impossible.
          
          Believe it or not, Horikita is a really complex character and really hard to write Romantic scenes with. I've scrapped the conversation between Kai and Horikita more than 10 times, which is why the chapter is taking so long.
          
          Or maybe I'm just not used to romantic scenes and build-up. Nonetheless, after I finish this scene, half the chapter will be over. It's not an extra long one, but it'll stretch around 8000-9000 words.
          
          It'll take time, I still have to go well over 4000 words to complete that mark.
          
          I'll try to update soon. As I mentioned earlier, I just have a lot on my plate and can't seem to find enough time. Yeah...

God damn it. I just went over my latest chapter and saw that a few dialogues between Manabu and Kai are missing. I swear I remember I wrote them.
          
          I do remember taking a break in between, I think those dialogues didn't get saved. I just saw it and I'll update it asap. It'll take at the very least 4-5 hours from now as I'm in class.
          
          I really apologise for this inconvenience, it is a major change in the timeline actually. I'm surprised you guys didn't notice. It's a change which was planned actually. Man I fucked it up.

Damn my series really fell off when I wasn't active. Well whatever, gives me more motivation smh. Anyway, there are about 10 long chapters prolly one or two more and a few short chapters, around 6-7 left for the first year.
          
          After that is over, I'll dive right into the backstory of Kai, Kagami's class and his full plan. Next thing will be the Horikita and Kai dynamic which would also be improved in the remaining chapters of Year 1. 
          
          I know the quality of chapters have been bad recently. It's just that I've lost my game, I need to re-read the novel. Currently, Kinugasa is cooking even though he's not well. Let's hope he gets well soon.
          
          Anyway, just tell me are y'all liking the style I'm writing now? I mean it's third person POV. Which is how stories are mostly written but I didn't follow it during the start of my story. If you want me to switch back to my other style then I'll gladly do so.
          
          There have been no comments on my recent chapters when I asked this, that's why I needed to make an announcement regarding that. I really did fall off huh?
          
          That's all I wanted to say. I'll drop the next chapter soon, it's long so it'll take time. Around 4-5 days. I'll try to make it quick tho. Yeah.

          The problem is, my device has got really fucked up. It has lost its display and I am currently using another device. It'll take a while to get repaired.
          
          That's why the chapter has been delayed, it was meant to drop this morning but yeah. It's currently past midnight in my country, I'll drop the chapter tomorrow morning. That's approximately 6-7 hours from now.
          
          I really do apologise for it. I'll try to double upload tomorrow as it is a holiday for me. So yeah, I'll get working now.
