Finally...

After over 2 years researching and studying, I have created a stand that is powerful but balanced.

I would like to introduce you to...

          Name: Seperate Ways

          Type: humanoid.

          Ability: Time Travel.

Description: the user of separate ways can travel backwards or forwards in time, with a single hour being the maximum amount of time the user can go back or forward.

The user will be transported to either the future or the past of wherever they are at that moment, even if they themselves were not at that place an hour ago.

To balance this, separate ways has a cool-down equal to the amount of time you traveled, for an example, if you traveled 17 minutes into the past or future, you would have to wait exactly 17 minutes before you can time travel again, with the max cool down being an hour equal to the max amount of time you can travel.

I don't necessarily have the stats however I was thinking of physical strength being 100 times the user's physical strength.

With the user being me, a 120 lb, 5 ft 11, 19-year-old who never exercises or works out, that would be roughly strong enough to punch a hole through a somewhat thick sheet of metal, but nothing too broken or impressive.

@khaneoshikki the serial killer angle has already been taken

so how about a cult leader using their stand to seem like a god to their followers with the plan to take over the world?

@HeavenAscensionDIO thanks it took forever to come up with an ability that wasn't already taken or too similar to something else, and don't worry, this stand does have a music reference.

The song referenced is separate ways by journey.

Finally enough I was honestly thinking of making this into a full part I could put in between part three and four.

I was thinking the Jojo could be a detective trying to catch a serial killer who somehow is defying logic and time.

He knows who the killer is but because the killer is both a good man in public eye and he always has an alibi and can be pointed to never be at the places of the crimes at the exact time they happened.

I was thinking of either giving this JoJo a support-based stand or no stand, like just really good detective skills and hand-to-hand combat of course.

I have an idea I want to share with you.

I don't know if you read Manhwa but what would you think about ' Survival of a Sword King' main character, Ryu Hanbin in HSR.

I don't plan to make it an insert, or a male reader, like the actual MC into HSR but the thing is I don't know if it would make sense to have him wake up on Herta space station or belobog.

@sejiku ive seen some manhwas but havent read that one yet
try and figure out a way to get him there first that makes sense

I found you on a few fanfics and noticed you were giving out some pointers.

I was wondering if you'd be able to give me some pointers on writing in general.

sejiku

@HeavenAscensionDIO Thank you! As of now, I used your pointers and created a new chapter.

Thank you, I really appreciate this.

@sejiku alright, here are some more general tips since your writing seems alright thus far
if I notice any issues I will point them out

first is that its a bad idea to start with an idea and try and build the story to reach the idea because that almost always leads to a bad story

you the idea should be the starting platform and the story grows off the idea

if you start with an idea and dont properly set it or the story up you could end up with a situation like with gojo from jujutsu kaisen, gege quickly grew to hate gojo and ended up writing a rather bullshit ending all because gege started with the idea of what he wanted gojo to have and didnt consider the implications those abilities would have on the story

a way he could have handled it much better would involve the inverted spear of heaven
its origins and how it broke is unknown, a very simple solution would be for sukuna to be the one who crafted it and it broke in a fight with kinjaku

this would lead to sukuna being able to create another one to deal with gojo without sukuna surviving things he completely and utterly shouldnt and wouldnt lead to some super bullshit ending

another important thing is forshadowing, the key to proper forshadowing is to make sure you wouldnt be able to tell its forshadowing until AFTER what it forshadows happens

a good examples of this is the jjba openings as when watching you see so many events but never analyze it then the event happens
