The golden light of Heaven shimmered across the clouds as the Speaker of God soared higher, her wings outstretched, catching every ray like living prisms. The usual calm that clung to her presence was gone, replaced with unbridled excitement, an almost infectious energy that made the very air hum in her wake.

She laughed — a sound rare and bright, like wind chimes dancing in sunlight — and twirled midair, leaving trails of golden light that shimmered and scattered like tiny stars. Her halo pulsed in rhythm with her delight, flickering faster with each graceful loop and dive.

"Incredible! Absolutely incredible!" she exclaimed, spinning again, wings slicing through clouds and leaving arcs of light behind. "I cannot remember the last time the world felt so alive, so… so full of possibility!"

She flipped gracefully, catching herself on a thermal, and soared higher, her feathers glinting brilliantly. For this moment, she was no longer the Speaker of God, the measured messenger of divine will — she was just herself, reveling in the freedom of the sky, the thrill of motion, and the pure, unrestrained joy of existing.

She let out a soft, delighted sigh, tilting her head to watch the clouds swirl beneath her. The golden haze of Heaven reflected in her eyes, and she whispered to herself with a grin, almost conspiratorial in its glee:
"How wondrous… how endlessly wondrous. Even for one who sees so much, this… this never fails to amaze."

And with that, she dove once more, laughing as the wind carried her forward, wings catching the light with every twist and turn, completely lost in the ecstasy of the flight.

Adam glared up at her "you do realize I was once part of the light now I'm stuck down here!!* He retorted clearly upset that she was flying around

@HeavenlySpeaker The Speaker turns fully toward Adam, her wings rising slightly, radiance flaring just enough to make the air shimmer with tension. Her expression hardens, calm replaced by a frost that feels almost tangible.

"Your words are reckless," she says, her voice low, sharp, and cutting, yet still measured. "Do not presume to blame what you do not understand. Darkness is not the fault of those who dwell in light."

She steps closer, the glow of her presence pressing subtly, her gaze piercing. The faint hum of her divine power vibrates through the air, an unspoken warning of the authority she wields.

"Take care with your tongue, mortal," she adds, her tone icy now, each word deliberate. "Or you may find yourself wishing the light had never touched you at all."

Her wings fold slowly, the brilliance dimming just enough to return her calm exterior, but the sharpness in her eyes does not fade.

Adam huffed "not my fault that hell is always dark." He replied watching as she looked back up towards heaven

The golden light of Heaven spills across the marble halls, yet even it cannot brighten her mood. The Speaker of God stands alone at the balcony, wings folded loosely behind her. Her gaze drifts downward, watching angels move about their duties, her expression calm but heavy with unspoken sorrow.

"So much suffering… and yet, so little is truly changed," she murmurs, her voice soft, almost lost in the echo of the hall. She shifts her weight, letting her wings droop slightly, the faintest sign of weariness in her posture.

She doesn’t cry, but the stillness around her feels weighted, as if the air itself is mourning alongside her. A faint sigh escapes her, and she whispers to herself,
"I must remain steady… even when my heart feels so heavy."

HeavenlySpeaker

@TheRootofEvil The Speaker’s eyes narrow slightly at Roo’s hiss, the faint serenity in her posture fracturing. Her wings lift just a little — not in threat, but in restrained frustration. The warmth in her aura fades, replaced by a chill that seeps quietly into the air.

"Careful, Roo," she says, her tone low and cold, every word controlled to perfection. "You forget where you stand — and before whom."

Her gaze sharpens, pale and steady like frozen glass.
"I have tolerated your insolence out of understanding. Do not mistake that for indulgence."

The light around her brightens for only a moment, a silent warning, before dimming once again. Her expression returns to calm — but the edge in her eyes remains, unmistakable.

The Speaker takes a slow, steadying breath, letting her wings fold gently behind her. The light around her dims, returning to its usual soft glow. She glances at Roo, her expression calm but tinged with quiet regret.

"…I apologize," she says softly, her voice even and measured. "I allowed my… powers to flare unnecessarily. I did not mean to overwhelm you."

She shifts slightly, her posture relaxing, the tension in her shoulders easing. Her gaze drifts back to the horizon, composed once more.
"It is… unbecoming of me to lose such control. I hope you were not frightened."

Her wings settle fully, and the faintest trace of a self-reproachful sigh escapes her. Though calm again, the reminder of her earlier intensity lingers quietly in the air.
