So just so you know, you can totally see Akemi as your own character — just with the name, technique, and story already written, haha. But hey, I promise it’ll still feel like a cute Y/N–Megumi story, even if that’s not the main focus… or at least, I’m really trying to keep it from being.
Why? Simply because in my story, I really wanted to focus on the Jujutsu Kaisen lore, as well as on Akemi and Mika, who are the true protagonists of this story.
I love Jujutsu Kaisen because, unlike many other anime, it doesn’t need romance or relationship drama to be good. And don’t get me wrong — I love romance. I’m a romantic person. But when I’m looking for a story with paranormal elements, or something that really pulls me into its world, I want it to stay close to its central theme. I personally don’t like it when romance feels unnecessary or forced, which is something I feel happens in a lot of anime. That’s just my opinion, though.
That said, this story will explore Akemi and Mika’s love lives — it just won’t be the core of everything.
So I really hope you enjoy it, and that you can be patient with me! I’m in college, and I study a very, very demanding career. Thank you for reading, and I hope you have fun with it.
