Coming out of my cave for my once a year “still alive!” post. 
          So hi. Still alive. Physically. Has certainly not been what I’d call a good year, but a year nonetheless. 
          Interestingly enough, I’m popping back on because the other day I got to do something that never in a million years did I think I’d get to do. 
          I met fans of Behind the Mask and Hot Topic Hottie. In person. I SIGNED AUTOGRAPHS FOR THEM. 
          It genuinely amazes me that people actually enjoyed my works. Back when I was writing those, I was young and just obsessed with Voltron and didn’t really know what I was doing. Sure, I see and appreciate every viewer, every comment, everything. But it doesn’t always feel real until you see someone in person several years later who adored what you wrote. 
          So thank you, to everyone that’s read my work over the years. Knowing that you guys got some sort of joy from what I wrote, even if it was in some silly way, means the world to me. 
          Maybe as a treat, I’ll do that thing again where I update out of nowhere. We’ll see! Wattpad may be kind of dead but cringe is also dead, so screw it. Maybe I’ll dig up one of em one more time.

I've applied to be an intern at Wattpad. If they ever find this account... Wattpad sweetie I'm so sorry for writing terrible fanfiction back in 2017 I promise I'll write better fanfics from now on and mayhaps some original stories as well... 
          Speaking of which. Hey. If I post my original stories here, would y'all actually read those? I have some that I love but they aren't up for trad publishing, so I'd like to get them out there somehow and why not use Wattpad to do that?

          thought i’d hop on here and say i’m alive, so… i’m alive! and i am once again looking for BETA READERS! 
          readers will gain access to the first several chapters of my latest novel, and are given one simple task: leave comments. reactions, thoughts, questions, incoherent keysmashes, etc. 
          my betas get a few perks, including possible book cameos, the opportunity to design small characters, and when the book is published you will be credited as a beta. betas also can pester me about old fanfics, and one or two betas who are particularly awesome might get the chance to request a one-shot fanfic from me.

          If you are interested in being a beta reader, please do the following:

          2. Tell me which story you'd like to read, STORY A or STORY B: 
          A is a YA light fantasy featuring royalty, devious kings, lots of secrets, an adventure through a realm of my own creation, and some heartwarming romance. 
          B is a YA magical realism inspired by Gravity Falls featuring a small NY town, forest entities and magic, a murder mystery, tons of comedy, and an angsty ass slow-burn romance. 
          3. You can request to read both, but please specify which you'd like to start with. I will send you a PDF of the story you request. 
          From anyone interested in being a beta reader, what I need is feedback. What you liked about what you read, little details, big points, thoughts on worldbuilding, character development, plotlines, etc. I also need what you thought didn't work. Areas that were choppy, inconsistencies, plot holes, etc. 
          When my work gets published, my beta readers will all be credited in my acknowledgements. not always by name, as there's a lot, but you'll be able to know I'm talking about you.

so hi. i’m alive. shocker i know, considering every time i say “i’ll update!” i disappear for months. long story short? i don’t write much fanfic anymore. i write books. i’ve written two full novels and am working on two more currently. but if you somehow enjoyed my writing back when i wrote BTM and HTH, let me tell you, my writing has greatly improved since then, and i’m looking for beta readers. if anyone is interested in YA fantasy, please let me know, id love to have some of y’all, my first readers ever, see the original works i’ve done since i stepped away from the fabric world. i might still update one day, i usually do so on a whim and for fun, but my main focus right now is getting my books published. so if y’all want me writing here again, i need your help getting my other works published and off my plate! y’all leave the best comments on my fics, i want to see what you think when i’ve created everything entirely myself. and yes, i still read all your comments. you all are lovely.

it might make yall happy to know that i caved and ordered a wig to cosplay keith. screw it. bringing back voltron babeyyyy. also my friend and i got bored and started reading the iconic dirty laundry out loud (side note: if you’re in the voltron fandom but don’t know what dirty laundry is, you are dead to me.) (don’t ask how i have access to it i will never share my secrets) and it’s the funniest shit ever. also so damn cringeworthy. highly recommend reading fics aloud with your friends. 
          will i update fics? who knows. i gotta keep yall on your toes.

So an author on wattpad who was marginally successful (only on wattpad mind you) over 3 years ago tried to tell me how querying works. girl your work ain’t published. don’t try to tell me information i’ve known for months. girlfriend wasn’t even trying to be helpful she’s just like that’s not how querying works i’m like girl. my inbox says otherwise. chill.

my mind can’t process that i just wrote voltron fanfic in 2020 i- i need a nap. wait it’s 11:30 that’s just called sleep at this point. i need to emotionally recover from this.
