Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday from the East side of the world! ⊂◉‿◉つ
Just checking in this week because I haven't logged in for a long time. I'm so sorry about it but I have to take care of myself first. I'm already in my late third trimester and people weren't kidding when they said things get worse in the third trimester. On top of all the physical discomfort, my energy levels are fluctuating and all I want to do sometimes is sleep the whole day, but there's still so much stuff to prepare before baby gets here. But I'm so glad I'm having a healthy pregnancy so far, and praying for a positive natural birth. I'm also glad I didn't make any large commitments here on Wattpad like putting up another story with new chapters published weekly and all that. I won't be able to keep up in my situation.
Anyway, I saw the results for Wattys Shortlist. Some looked familiar but I haven't seen any friends on there. It's a short list (pun intended) again. I'm sure the stories up there are great, so congrats to all of them.
I also saw the Ambys. Now a lot of friends made it there! So happy for everyone! Both of my entry stories got in too. Good luck to everyone in the next round. I hope I'll be able to check in again soon.

I have been really busy lately, but all the best way. I had so much discomfort in the third trimester. My girls are now taller than me LOL. Congrats on your nanowatt win.

Sorry for falling off the face of Wattpad without a word, but here's my official notice for those who find themselves on my profile or in my stories and wondering where in Dreamland I have been.
I came from a bad flu (likely COVID-19 again) after traveling from Malaysia, which will be my last out-of-country travel in a while. It pushed off weeks from my planned schedules, but I'm much better now but still with a bit of runny nose. And my baby (boy!) is doing great too. I found out his gender a couple of weeks ago before we flew out, and I'm so thrilled.
Anyway, I will be less and less active on this site for the rest of the year due to pregnancy and other personal reasons, and very likely until next year. I may not be able to respond to notifications or tags. And I won't be posting any new stories here as I want to expand my writing career elsewhere. But I won't be leaving Wattpad. This platform has been of great value to me when it comes to my motivation to write and I will forever cherish this community, but I find professional success to be difficult here. I also don't want to deviate too much from what I want to write (Fantasy) just so I can fit the popular genres here. So I will be looking for opportunities elsewhere. It's time I took my own advice of making the right effort. :)
My current stories will be up and available for as long as it takes. I appreciate those who continue to read them. Much love to you!

Done! I submitted A Book Nerd's Guide to Falling in Love to the Wattys!
I can't remember that I felt this nervous last year when I submitted Daracka for the Wattys. I've been doing some last-minute minor edits since this morning, but I told myself it was time. I didn't want to wait until the last day to submit this to avoid the risks of website glitches, so I just did it. Whooo!
This is a much better version of the story now, and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.
