Mmk so I'm trying to edit quickly because *shocker* I didn't get to write most of the weekend. Since I'm currently home alone I have no one to consult with so to anyone who has very good grammer: is 'taken' or 'took' more appropriate in past tense?

Long story short, for the past few weeks I've been feeling emotionally and physically drained. I haven't written in almost a month, therefore Deception was put on the backburner. As of recently though, I've been feeling more myself and I've been regaining my motivation to write again. Yay!
The first chapter of Deception should be up by Friday!
