Another ranting session from me. Like today, I had PE and the teacher gave us some free time at the end of the period to do anything so I went and played soccer w/ the guys and a girl-friend of mine.
So obviously, since we're 'girls' so if anyone touches the ball, they get disqualified (we were playing pass the ball and if the person who's in the middle touches the ball, the one who touched it last replace them.)
And of course, there's always that one guy's who sexist. My friend Ella kicked the ball and since we're 'girls' the ball didn't get that far. The guy in the middle was a new kid so he didn't know of the rules.
So we were like 'its fine he doesn't know' and suddenly, a classmate of mine is all grumpy and like 'why are we even letting them play, they're girls.' and acted as if it was obvious.
I already hated him from the last two years but this was over board.
Like so we can't play soccer just because we're girls? So we can't play basketball if we're girls?
Its like they EXPECT us to be drawing or reading or cooking or doing things that are not athletic of somekind.
We may not be good at it but it doesn't mean we can't play it. Bish, you made no sense.
Like I'm fuming rn. I can't handle it so I just left with my hands raised up and I kinda snapped at my bestfriend (srry Keen) but I just can't stand people who are sexist.
And to think of it, I helped him with his work, or when he didn't understand materials so that just made me super sad. I feel betrayed a bit.
So, how was your day
