If I have a book open and am very obviously reading it, do not come up to me and ask "Oh what book are you reading?" If you do, my answer will be to hold the cover up so that you can read the title yourself. That would be indication number two to NOT talk to me. So don't proceed to ask, "Oh is it good? What's it about?" I don't know because instead of reading the book, I'm having to listen to you talk at me as if I wasn't doing anything important before you walked over. YOU are not more important than the story I am currently engulfed in. Don't try to make yourself more important because it will only serve to make me hate you.
