Hello to all 7 of my followers!

I know it's hard to find people who are genuinely interested in your stories, I mean, look at me. I spent two years of my life writing a Gears of War fan fiction/universe expansion only to have Epic Games tell me it wasn't what they were looking for and they refused to even see a sample.

Of course, they'd probably get a lot of die hard fans sending them things all the time...

Even when I posted it on Wattpad I found it generated very little interest because of my limited target audience.

Writing takes passion, patience, emotional intelligence and above all dedication. Even though you may not generate the amount of interest you want, don't let it affect your passion, your drive, your essence as a writer.

Wattpad provides an excellent starting point. And that starting point is where you write crap stuff and think its good stuff. You don't realise this until you actually re-read your "good stuff" to find out its fucking awful and that what you're writing right now is miles ahead of what you were.

Then a few years later you'll go through the same thing. It's how we improve. Practise doesn't make you perfect. Why should it? That would be boring...
