I remember the first version of this story and idk how long it’s been but I still remember the cabin scene and where we left off, but I’m glad you came back and rewrote it with the same plot and will continue to read and support.

How I felt after publishing 5 chapters in one day: “AND I WORK LIKE A DOG, DAY AND NIGHT LIVING OFF OF COFFEE FROM A POT NONE OF YOU WANNA TOUCH!” 
          
          I’m just joking (or am I?) Aaaanyways, I just want to point out the importance of the author note I left on part II, so please do not skip it.

Chapter 15 is up. ;) ;) I'm just gonna put the content advisory notice here: This chapter is spicy, so if you don't like that, you can skip starting from mid chap. to the end. However, if you do like smut, then enjoy ya filthy animal.

Chapter 12 is up. It's Friday, and I updated as promised!! 
          
          There's something else I want to rant about. Lately, I have noticed some readers do not like how lengthy my chapters can get. Please understand that this is a preference. If you are a reader that hates long chapters, there are other who don't like short ones. 
          
          I update once or twice a week, and I ensure the chapter I upload is relatively long, so you read it over the course of the week till I update again. Additionally, Play Pretend has an eventful plotline and each chapter serves a purpose and paves the way for the next, if I rush it, it will not be good.
          
          And lastly, I'm open for any Q & As, discussions, feedback and constructive criticism as long as you're mindful and polite.

For those who are currently reading/ have read some of the chapters I’ve uploaded, know that I edited the AN and chapters 1, 2 and 9. 
          
          I’d highly recommend you view these edits as they are slight but relevant to the storyline so I announced this just to avoid any confusion in the future, but if you’re too lazy to reread (I get it, I’m a procrastinator too) here are the things I edited: 
          
          - I aged up the characters, so now Lydia is 22 and Theo is 28. 
          - Lydia traveled to NYC for her masters not as an undergraduate student. 
          - I added more banter to their first meeting. (Because why not?) 
          - Lydia used to live in California not in Washington DC. 
          - as for chapter 9, I’m not telling what I edited in it, you’ll find out sooner or later though.

Chapter 10 is UP!!! Out of all the chapters I've written till now, this is my favorite chapter, I hope you have fun reading it as much as I had fun writing it.
