Hi guys!
          
          I know it's the 18th but still happy new year!
          
          I hope you had a fun-filled end to 2024 and 2025 is being kind to you! :⁠-⁠D
          
          I know it's a silly thing to keep track of but today also happens to be Amarachi's birthday and I love birthdays so much! To celebrate I have decided to release the new, edited version of Like Stars at Night! It has much better writing, brand new scenes and is a lot shorter. The first draft was averaging 96k words if you can believe that.
          
          The first draft has also been ineligible for the Wattys for a few years now and I want to try my luck (again!) with this year's Wattys. I'm still pursuing traditional publishing at the same time so I've got my hands full XD
          
          I'm keeping the old version up so that I can look back on my growth. And also for a healthy dose of cringe every now and then.
          
          I'm not fully done with the edits but it's only a few minor things left. I'll be updating it at least once every week, fingers crossed.
          
          As for Into the Starry Night, well I find myself in the middle of a very serious writers block ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ
          
          I'll try to have the next chapter put by this weekend.
          
          I've also had a sudden bout of inspiration to dust out a few old drafts so I will be participating in ONC this year. Honestly I missed the contest and engaging with fellow writers so I will do my best to follow through. Here's to hoping that I find one or two prompts that fit with my drafts.

This cold Christmas I'm bringing the heat with a brand-new chapter.
          
          We can definitely say those two are having the time of their lives. How will it affect their relationship going forward? Well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

Whew, this chapter is quite the behemoth but I had just the best time writing it.
          
          I'm just super excited because the next chapter is literally the whole reason I started writing in the first place  it's definitely going to be spicy and I can't wait to start writing a little smut in my books.
          
          I'll try to get it up sometime before Christmas.
          
          In other news, I just graduated from the Bootcamp Mentorship program and honestly it was the best thing I've done this year. I'm still working on editing LSaN but with all the feedback I've gotten from my mentors (I got input from not one but TWO soon to be traditionally published authors and it still makes me dizzy with disbelief) I can confidently say that by the end of my editing I'd have a foolproof manuscript. Isn't that exciting?

          I don't know why I chose today for him but it suits him perfectly.
          
          And to celebrate our little troublemaker I've (finally) updated with a chapter that I feel captures the very essence of Daniel: his unbelievably kind heart.
          
          I apologize if the chapter is rough and choppy. I will keep writing the book and edit everything when I'm done.
          
          Speaking of edits, I have finally started on Like Stars at Night and it's going as well as it can. I've deleted a lot and I mean A LOT. Rewritten some things and added brand new scenes. When I'm done it will be a better, more concise book that you'll hardly recognize.
          
          I'm sorry I'm not consistent with updating. Between my internship and my research thesis and editing LSaN I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed and overstimulated. I will try to continue writing because I'm getting to the part of the book where the lovey dovey stuff happens and I'm super excited for it.
