Happy new year ✨

As the year comes to an end I just wanted to say thank you to every single one of you for sticking by me and being so patient with me.
          
          Writing can be a very lonely undertaking, just you and your characters and this story you need to tell but knowing that I can't disappoint you guys worked wonders for my motivation and I'm so grateful.
          
          As promised here's the last update for Under the Cover of Darkness for 2025. I know updates for this story are few and far between and I've made this promise before but I'm seriously going to take it more seriously starting next year.
          
          Speaking of updates, this is quite a heavy chapter and there's some DV stuff discussed that could potentially be triggering so please read with caution. Also there's a surprise appearance from an old character so don't miss out ;-)
          
          This chapter is 3k+ words and it might seem too long but it's the longest chapter I've written in a time when I thought I had lost that ability. I'm so proud of myself honestly.
          
          I hope to finish this book in 2026 because we have like 10 chapters max to the end.

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas everyone!
          
          I'm here with a Christmas update, the last of the year for this story and one of my favorite chapters to write.
          
          I'm slowly healing my relationship with writing because recently I haven't felt much joy in it. It just felt like a chore. But now I'm being intentional in feeling the joy in bringing my characters to life and it's slowly working. I don't like the end of this chapter but unfortunately I don't have a better one so please bear with me.
          
          I'm turning my focus now to Under the Cover of Darkness and I should have an update out before the year ends. I'm going to be focused on both these stories and get them finished by next year by God's grace.
          
          I'm graduating next month and I'm so excited and scared because I would like to start my PhD the same time. I can't wait to see what's in store for all of us for next year.

Hello!! Is this thing on?
          
          Hey guys. No I'm not dead in a ditch somewhere. I know you guys have probably given up hope that I'm not going to update till the year runs out. Sike!! I'm back with an update.
          
          November 16 is Daniel's fictional birthday so of course I had to celebrate with an update.
          
          This one is a little dialogue heavy but I love it so much. I love Veronica, I love the dynamic, I loved writing every single word. Someone makes a surprise return by the end but I'll leave you to figure out who it is B-)
          
          In my life things have been going great. Loving being an ambassador and I finally finished my master's thesis that was almost driving me crazy. I graduate in January so not long now.
          
          I've also been writing A Girl's Guide to Being Jilted on another platform. Strangely I've gotten new inspiration for the story (read: money) and I've been updating every day. For those of you that remember it was my ONC 2023 (I think? I can't remember. My memory is so bad man, I only remember stupid stuff :'-D) story and I'm so glad to finally finish Denise and Matty's story.
          
          What else? Yes expect another update soon (I don't know how soon so please don't hold your breath T_T) and this next chapter is kind of the reason I wrote this book in the first place. It's SUPER important but you won't find out why until at least five chapters later but I promise to make it worth it.
