You guys know what? I'm actually starting to enjoy writing this again.
          
          I wanted it to end sweetly and nicely, but where's the fun in that? The special guest of honor in today's chapter is Amarachi's trauma, and I don't know why it's always, always so fun to write angry Amarachi. It's my favorite thing to write because she's so unhinged and unbothered about anybody's feelings when she's angry, and you know what, girl? Same.
          
          Anyway, here's the newest chapter, published on schedule, and I'll try to see if I can get another one out by next Sunday since we're now getting into the juicy bits.

I know I said I made a publishing schedule and I'm going to stick to it buuuuuuuttttttttt I don't think that's possible for this week.
          
          Part Two I thought was going to be a breeze to write is turning out as everything but. But in a good way because I think I'm finally finding a way to deepen their connection which is great. You guys should pleaseeeee be a little more patient with me and I'll try to have an update before midweek.
          
          On a different note, I've finally gotten the courage to query my book for literary representation so that's good. I'm trying out a handful of agents to see how it goes and because of that I'm reexamining every single chapter of that duet.
          
          Can y'all believe chapter eight of Into the Starry Night was 4568 words long??? I sure as hell couldn't. I decided to split it in two so if you get a notification I'm sorry to have put your hopes up, it had to be done. 
          
          I still think the book is cringe but it is what it is.

So after what feels like forever here's another chapter. I'm sorry if it feels like it ends abruptly, there's actually more to the chapter but it was getting to 3k+ words and I felt like it'd be a chore to read so I've split it.
          
          As usual I think it's absolutely cringe and I hate every word I've written here but as usual I have no choice but to write it. I'm also sorry if it feels like the romance isn't going anywhere, I promise the payoff will be worth it. Both of them are stubborn, bullheaded adults and they have refused to cooperate so I must now make them. In the meantime enjoy these new characters, I'm genuinely excited to introduce them.
          
          Not giving away too much but they will all be instrumental in getting those two back together. At least that's the plan, we'll see.
          
          Here's the new update and y'all will be excited to know that I've put myself on a weekly schedule of publishing every Sunday until the end of the book so fingers crossed I actually stick to it. I have the next chapter halfway done so yeah, I guess it's looking feasible.
          
          Anyway, thank you guys for reading and supporting, I don't take it for granted.

Do I have a love-hate relationship with this chapter? Absolutely.
          
          I think it's so unbelievably cringe but it's necessary to set up what's to come.
          
          I have a somewhat big decision to make as regards the rest of the book guys. Do I want explicit steamy scenes or fade-to-black stuffs? Decisions, decisions.
          
          I honestly do not know the answer to that question so I'll leave it up to you guys. Let me know what you want to see. I would love to see them in some shenanigans but at the same time it feels sooooo wrong ʘ⁠‿⁠ʘ

Guess who just finished her master's coursework and is just 6 months away from graduation? This gal!
          
          I'm super grateful for the experience and I can finally take myself out of this self-induced writer's block and finish that damn book once and for all.
          
          As I said before we have something like 10-15 chapters or so left. I still have my research project and internship to complete but I've got more time on my hands.
          
          Can't wait to continue writing and I'll see you guys later. ＾⁠3⁠＾

          Long time no see. I really did miss you guys. Writer's block is a bitch honestly.
          
          This chapter took me almost two months to write for some reason. And I hate every word in it, but alas, it is necessary for the plot.
