Maybe try to write a story of just MPDD first?
            And if not that, spend a lot of the beginning chapters with PIE so that you can discover more about MPDD naturally and as it goes along, and not have it told through narration?
            Would that work?

@EllietheWizard maybe it's a bit difficult.... Like I'm doing a crossover of MPDD and PIE but it's hard to work out because people don't know of MPDD... Maybe I'm jumping too far ahead!
