Hi everybody! For everyone reading The Opportunity, my KOTLC fic, the long-awaited chapter is up!

Hey guys! Thanks for the recent interest in my poetry compilation, and all the support! Just wanted to update that I'm going to cap it at 50 poems, so I'll finish it in a couple of days! Leave comments on which ones you want to stay on there, and which ones you think I should edit out(be honest, some of them need real work)!

I love how TID is so ingrained in my soul that when I was listening to a podcast yesterday, and learned that the Thames river's ecosystem has finally begun to grow again, and that there are now venomous sharks living there, I immediately imagined naked Will Herondale swimming in the Thames and having to fight off all the sharks while Jem and Tessa laughed at him, Charlotte tried to go in after him, Henry tested the pH levels of the water, Gabriel took pictures, Cecily tried to keep one as a pet, Sophie scolded Gabriel and tried to take away his camera, and Gideon tries not to laugh, but fails. Obviously, if we're being serious, Magnus probably had something to do with all of that in the first place. Anyways, off to cry about Will Herondale and reread my annotated copies of all of the books and look at fanart and find every mention of him in the other CC series.

If there is one trope I absolutely cannot stay away from, it's a grumpy one teaching the naive one how to fight/do something important/activate their powers! It's like I'm addicted to it...at least it's not the one bed trope lol

Happy 40th Anniversary of the deaths of Lily and James Potter...I hope nobody cries as much as I already have, because they would be 61, and they would be turning a little gray, and Sirius would be too(but he would keep dying it midnight black so it wouldn't show), but not Remus because his werewolf stuff makes him age a little slower, and Mary and Marlene and Dorcas would be dancing in the living room and Regulus would be teaching the grandkids how to swim and everything would be great and all the Weasleys would be over at the Potters' house, and Remus, James, and Sirius would tell stories to the grandkids about their escapades at Hogwarts, and oh my god I can't. Happy death anniversary to two of the greatest two people that ever fictionally lived. RIP Prongs and Lily
