Okay so I’m reading this book called ‘The Icepick Surgeon’ by Sam Kean, it’s all about scientists breaking laws and rules and just going off the rails for their projects. And this writer??? Bro he has lines that don’t belong in this book- like I’m just reading and the line “The scientist returns from the intellectual wilderness, hailed as brilliant.” is NOT A LINE I was expecting- 
                                    
          I’m reading about a logger/pirate/navigator/biologist and the line “…a bank of demon-black clouds rolled in and unleashed hell”- what the hell oh my gosh- this is the literal description of a HURRICANE it’s ridiculous- I seriously recommend this book, though some of the topics are really sensitive.
