NEW CHAPTERRRRRRR and it's a LONG one!

A brand new, never-before-seen chapter is up! Chapter 24 "Roomies" has been completely rewritten to give the Kansas motel more of a run-down sketchy vibe. It was a lot of fun to write, go check it out :)

I'm really sorry for the delay in re-publishing the chapters, I feel awful about it :( I didn't intend for it to take this long but have been using the time to really polish the chapters and rewrite some scenes I always felt were missing something. I hope to make a lot of progress this month and get them all back online ASAP. Just so you know, I've also been working on the ending chapters during this time. I fully intend on this story being finished in the first few months of 2026- it's been fun but I'm so ready to be done so I don't have to worry about it lol I swear this project has been absolutely cursed from the beginning (even tho I love it and my OCs haha)

Now that I have access to polls, I published one for every chapter of Road to Rockdale! Would love to get your feedback :) (also more chapters should be published tonight!)

Hi! Just wanted to apologize for the delay in getting all the RTR chapters back up :((( I've been completely rewriting some scenes, which definitely wasn't the plan, but I got carried away...lol oops. I hate how many edits I've made to this story, but it's like a never-ending cycle of me writing a bunch of chapters, developing my writing skills further, then being dissatisfied with earlier chapters and wanting to redo them lol. On the bright side, it means the overall story becomes better! Chapter 20 "The Truce" will be re-released this week so stay tuned :) I'm going to go through the rest as fast as I can without sacrificing quality. Will also have some AMAZINGGGGG art of Isaac, Chase, Skye and Connor to share soon so look forward to that!

Quick little update! It's taking me a bit longer to go through all the chapters and re-publish them, but I want to make sure they're all the highest possible quality :) 19 chapters total are now live again though! Thank you so much to the new readers who have left comments the last few days, it means a lot and inspires me to keep writing!! ALSO, I just commissioned some new cartoony art of the four main characters and I'm super excited to see and share the final result when the artist is finished within a week or two, so look forward to that!
