After We Said “I Do”
Maybe, Author, you could write a story like this—where Jenlisa are high school sweethearts. Lisa is a normal girlfriend, but Jennie is extremely possessive and jealous; possessiveness literally runs in her blood. Their relationship has its natural ups and downs, but eventually, as time passes, their love grows stronger and stronger. After graduation, they eventually get married.
But their married life has its own ups and downs too. Lisa gives up her career for Jennie, but Jennie never really understands or acknowledges that sacrifice. At the same time, Jennie is always busy with her company and doesn’t want to compromise on her own career, while also not wanting to let Lisa drift away from her. Their marriage would be the main focus of the story—showing how their relationship, which was so easy and understanding in high school, becomes much more complicated after marriage.
Jennie’s possessiveness, jealousy, and insecurities could create even more problems between them. Maybe her insecurities could even make her want to have a baby with Lisa, hoping it would make their bond feel more secure, while Lisa isn’t ready for motherhood yet. That difference could become another source of conflict between them. And of course, you can add your own twists and conflicts too. You know your magic of storytelling better than anyone, so I’m sure you could make it really interesting.
I know it might sound like a common storyline, and you might not even be interested in writing something like this. I’m just sharing an idea that came to my mind. In case you ever want to explore a story like this, you could give it a try. Because, you know, your last 6 stories were all so unique, and I really appreciated that. But if you ever feel like writing something more traditional or tropey this time, I’d still love to read it.
Also, you mentioned a few days ago that we could share story suggestions, so I thought I’d share one that came to my mind.
@Nilaislamnila Hehe, I’ll definitely be waiting if you ever decide to write something like that
@Nilaislamnila that’s actually cool idea, but let’s wait for future, who knows I might write something like that
Guys, let’s do anonymous questions!!
Feel free to write whatever you like—you can also ask me questions!! Hehe, no worries, no judgment.
Question: So, how did your first kiss happen, and how old were you?
Well, my first kiss happened when I was 14, and it wasn’t really a kiss-kiss, more like a peck.
I was having a competition in another country, and it was me and two other boys there. We were playing Truth or Dare, and one of the boys had to find one of us while blindfolded. I tried to run away and even closed the door of the cubicle I was hiding in, but of course, they weren’t going to kiss each other, so he found me.
We asked the other boy to leave, which he did, and then it was just the two of us in my hotel room… I kissed his lips…
And let me tell you, it was SO awkward.
..
Also, I felt so ashamed of myself for the next three months because I genuinely thought, “Yeah, this is the end of the world for me. If my parents found out I am dead…”
@HeyYouChick In my family, we never show affection—not even a hug. I met a girl when I was 16, and she was the first person I let get very close to me, and vice versa. One day, she was in my room teaching me how to kiss on the cheek. I was following her lead, but we both turned at the same time and accidentally pecked on the lips. I was 17 by then, and we had our actual kiss the next week. By the way, we both liked each other, but neither of us knew the other person's feelings at the time.
girl.. I'm 20 years old and i've never kissed anyone seriously. ofc i don't count kisses with my besties
@HeyYouChick I still cringe thinking about it to this day... trust I am not proud of myself
This one, in my opinion, is your one of most emotional story, yk.
I know I’m going to sound like some lovesick bitch, even though I’ve never been in love. But I’ve watched enough sad movies to know that sometimes, letting go is the right thing to do rather than staying in a relationship that will only destroy the both of you. Because sometimes, it’s better to survive alone than to be destroyed together.
PS: Let’s just hope that the characters will find their own happiness…
