Death's Messengers is a German fairytale that is part of the Brothers Grimm collection. I like this story most for its similarities to Greek mythology. Death sends his siblings to warn a man that he is to die soon. Similar to Thanatos, these siblings include illness, the signs of ageing and sleep. What I love most about this story is the final words Death tells the man, he says something along the lines of: "Has not my brother Sleep reminded you every night of me? Did you not lie by night as if you were already dead?"
Honestly, the story has the framework of a BL and I hold no shame in saying if someone were to do it, I'd read it in a heartbeat - no hesitation.

This is just my personal opinion but out of all the myths and legends I know of, the Roman myth of Iphis and Ianthe seems to be the only one with a working healthy relationship. If you don't know the story, I definitely recommend looking into it. I just find it a cute story and I love how the gods kinda work together to get Iphis and Ianthe happily married.

Iphis and Ianthe are 10/10 Best Mythological Couple.

Fun fact:
Before we realised it was a planet, Venus was viewed as two separate stars. In Greek mythology, they were given the names Eosphorus (god of the morning star) and Hesperus (god of the evening star). They also had Roman names which were Lucifer and Vesper.
