"How can you give up on us?"
Us? There is no us. We were reading two different books on two different pages. It was a sad wishful thinking that would never become a reality. There was no us to give up on. I am not going to stand here and for someone who isn't going fight for me. I am done with jumping through hoops when you won't do the same. I will not stand here and look at you when your attention is always on others. There was no us form the very start. We were never going to be. I will not stand here picking at the brick walls you built while getting hurt in the process. I will no longer wait for you to look at me the same I once looked at you. I don't want to hear your apologies. I don't want to hear your lies. I didn't give up on us. You did. You never tried to put in to make us an us. It's only you without me. I don't want to hear your words, they are meaningless to me. I don't want to hear your excuses, I've heard it all before. Don't tell me how much you love me, when you think it's what I want to hear. I don't want to hear it. I'm done with the lies. I don't care if you're "sorry." I care if you "tried." Your actions speak louder, and I finally understand my worth. You might very much love me, but it was never the same. If you say you love me, I will never say it back. You lost the chance to cherish it. You no longer deserve it. No more pushing and pulling. No more argument and makeups. What's done is done. So yeah. I gave up on "us" the moment I realized there it was nothing more than an one sided love.
