          just wanted to pop in and say I’m so sorry for the slower updates lately—I haven’t forgotten about any of my fics, I promise. life’s just been a bit hectic right now since I’ve started my first year of A Levels (I’m taking chemistry, physics, maths, and am getting forced to do Welsh Bacc), and the workload is intense. between revision, homework, and trying to sleep occasionally, writing time has been harder to find.
          
          I still love these stories and all of you who read, and comment—it genuinely means the world and keeps me motivated even when I’m buried in homework and revision.
          
          so, updates will be a bit less frequent for now, but I will keep writing whenever I can. thank you all for being patient and understanding—you’re the best!!

          I just wanted to take a quick moment to say something really important regarded my fic Clockwork Heart, and I hope you’ll all understand where I’m coming from.
          
          Recently, I’ve seen a few people taking this story’s idea, plot, and concepts and trying to pass them off as their own. Please don’t. This story—from the original characters (OC’s), majority of the plot, and lore, to the relationship between Salome and Isaac—has taken me ages to build and write. Every detail, every line, every emotion has come from me and no one else.
          
          I know it’s flattering when a story inspires others—and I love that you love it enough to want to create something similar—but there’s a huge difference between being inspired by something and copying it outright. This story is deeply personal and original to me. Seeing it taken and repackaged without credit is genuinely disheartening.
          
          If you love my work and want to write something inspired by it, that’s amazing—but please make it your own. Change the world, the characters, the themes—give it you. Don’t just lift the story, names, ideas and especially don’t outright copy my story and write it in the exact same fandom. It’s not fair to the work and heart I’ve put into it.
          
          Thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far—you’re the reason I keep writing and sharing my fanfic worlds with you. You guys are the sweetest, and your comments and opinions mean everything. <3
