I was born and raised in South-East England, speaking an idioglossia with my sister, alongside our native English. At school, I learned French, German and Spanish, then picked up some Dutch, a little Irish, and lots of ASL from independent study at home. I'm currently learning Polari and BSL alongside my university studies of French & German (Joint Honours BA).

I started writing in earnest when I was 11, but I've been telling myself stories my whole life. I'm Sapphic and I play piano, ukulele, and a little clarinet, plus I crochet (large-grip hooks are my friends) and knit.

I finished the sixth draft of my first novel, "This Still Happens" in November 2019, wrote the first draft of my second novel, "Violins and Violets" for Camp NaNoWriMo 2018, and the third draft of my YA realist novel "Curls of Smoke", for NaNoWriMo in November 2018. My current WIPs are "She Has No Name", a dark academia romance (on hold), "Vogeltje" (historical fiction), the new draft of "Violins and Violets", and a companion book / quasiprequel as yet untitled.
