          This is the information for the book, It's called Second Chance.:
          
          Rebecca Danvers, a cheerleader who is under her step-fathers care, finds a old photo album while cleaning out the basement of their house as punishment for getting expelled from school. She finds out who her actual father is and runs away to find him.
          In Glendale, a small town, Rebecca finds her father and tries to start a father/daughter relationship with him which is hard to do since he is in his own bad ways himself.
