Hello user!
My name is Mark and I am a 3rd year history major at Chico State. In my free time I love playing video games, golf, and photography. I am a huge zombie fan and watch the walking dead extensively.
Being a history major in college, I read through dense primary sources every week and discuss them with my peers. Reading through an average of 20 pages a week, I can recognize pretty quickly if a source is going to be long and tedious or if the source will be filled with helpful insights that fascinate me and keep me hooked. Even if a source is boring, what keeps me reading is the fact that, that author lived through history and wrote it down from their perspective. Not all the facts may be true, but it is an original piece of history that I can view hundreds or even thousands of years after it happened. As a history student, the past fascinates me more than the future ever will. Don't get me wrong, I love a good dystopian future novel. But the more and more I read the past, the more I stray away from fantasy novels and the like.
So why am I explaining this to you? I wanted you readers to understand my perspective of literature. Granted I did write my two stories about three years ago. But I am proud of my auto-lovebiography and zombie novel. To me they are a written history of my writing style. And in advance, sorry about the typos. I will fix them in time. Grammar is not my strong suit. As far as writing goes, I might get inspired to write again when I have some free time. Perhaps during a break in school. But for now enjoy what I have written and if you liked or hated it. Please comment and tell me what you think! Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this far! Also all of the picture I use for my background are one I have taken!
Also G.S. Fernandez@Project Myst is my good friend from high school so you should check him out!
