I'm a fan of history and metal...both alone and together, hence Sabaton is my favourite band. My favourite Sabaton album is Carolus Rex because it tells an epic story, the rise of the Swedish Empire during the Thirty Years' War and its downfall with the death of King Karl XII (AKA Carolus Rex) in 1718, during the Great Northern War.

I'm also a fan of classical literature and travel as well as a complete science nerd and tea lover.

My favourite novel is The Count of Monte Cristo. It is an epic story, following the tale of one man seeking revenge against those who falsely accused him of a crime he did not commit but it's also much more than a mere revenge story, blending in adventure, romance and scandals, set in the backdrop of France, the era of the Bourbon Restoration from the early to almost mid nineteenth century. It explores a wide variety of themes, pertaining to human nature and the meaning of vengeance and redemption.

I've been a passionate reader from a young age, burying myself into any kind of book from fiction to nonfiction.

I'm currently working on a story that would broadly be considered sci-fi. Project Light is set in an alternative twenty-first century, shaped by the event of an Axis victory in World War Two, instead of defeat. What inspired it is the concept of ethics. Nazi doctors were involved in the atrocities of the concentration camps and when they were brought to the Nuremberg Trials to be judged for their crimes, their defence was that there was no law saying what they did was wrong and that the people they experimented on were just concentration camp prisoners and therefore they had no rights like a free citizen. From here on, the concept of ethics, particularly in a medical context, grew, and continues to be so important in modern practice today.
