Because of that, the spell didn’t overwrite her memories the same way it did for the others. Magic in this world still affects her, but certain things—like this memory reset—don’t fully apply to her.
What happened or changed that prevented Suguru from becoming the worst curse user and a bad guy? YN left just at the arc of when he becomes disillusioned by humans due to Riko's death and the Star cult's clapping to it. And in Tsumderland chapter twisted scroll of Floyd's Tsum twisted, the sisters that he took in after killing their entire village appeared, which was the final straw that led him to become an antagonist. Even if he has feelings for Satoru, there is still the lovers-to-enemies trope.
