Eli grew up in a house where emotions were never spoken—only felt. Tension lived in the walls. In the pauses. In the things people refused to say out loud.
He learned early that silence wasn’t empty. It was full.
The first time it happened, he thought something was wrong with him. A fight that never happened—but he felt it anyway.
Grief that wasn’t his—but it sat in his chest like it belonged there. Music became his coping mechanism.
Then his control. Then his weapon.
By the time he realized he wasn’t just feeling emotions—but influencing them— It was already too late to pretend he was normal.
Now?
People find him. Not because they understand him—
but because something about him makes them feel seen… or completely unraveled.

Petra Quill was born on Earth, Missouri, to a young mother whose warmth and love were both fierce and fleeting. Her father, a distant figure, left before she could remember him. Her mother died when Petra was only a few years old, leaving her with a tiny, fragile world suddenly upended.
Unbeknownst to her, Petra carried Celestial blood—a remnant of her mother’s heritage—that lay dormant, almost imperceptible, under the surface of her human life. At first, it manifested only subtly: strange bursts of heat, glimmers of gold in her eyes when she cried, unexplained strength. Her mother tried to hide it, warned her that the world would never forgive a child who could wield such power.

Her Celestial power remained dormant for most of her adolescence. When it surfaced—uncontrolled, unpredictable—her mentors saw her as dangerous, more than useful. It was around this time she adopted the “Star-Lord” persona, masking the raw, terrifying potential inside her with humor, bravado, and reckless exploits.

When Petra was still very young, she was abducted by space scavengers, a mercenary crew who noticed the latent energy in her body. They saw profit and potential, not a child. Earth became a distant memory—a photograph folded into a pocket, a song stuck in her head, a planet she would never walk again.
The abductors raised her as a thief, pilot, and survivor, teaching her that the universe doesn’t care about sentiment, and that power is both a weapon and a liability. They drilled discipline in skill, chaos in thinking, and independence in spirit, shaping Petra into a cunning, unpredictable force.
