wow I actually decided to come onto here and tell my dying fanbase of 60 followers that if they have not already migrated to AO3 and are just now doing that because of wattpad and it's shit policies, here are things you must learn:
          1. USE. THE. TAGGING. SYSTEM. I cannot emphasize that enough guys USE IT!!!! It's incredibly helpful for finding what you are looking for in a fic specifically and if you want to read completed works or follow along with an unfinished work
          2. mind the dead doves and bags of rats. Dead dove: do not eat, is the tag used to essentially say "I have tagged my fic with all these content labels of what is going to happen and some of it might be distressing to some people, you know what you are getting into and it is not my responsibility to coddle you" while Undisclosed Bag of Rats is the tag that means "I have chosen to forgo some tags and warnings for the sake of not spoiling my writing, proceed with EXTREME caution or don't read at all, it is not my responsibility to coddle you"
          3. yes there's gonna be problematic content on AO3, it is an archive, it is very anti-censorship, no there will not be an app for it because then they would have to comply with various app store censors
          4. don't like? don't read! you DO NOT need to report a fic just because it has a problematic age gap, inc-st, or anything else that could be distressing to you, simply refer to point 1, I would also recommend you read their faq page and their content policy page if you're unsure about anything!
          5. have fun! interact in comments! give kudos! bookmark fics! you choose how you want your experience to be on AO3, the possibilities are limitless!
